A great day to fly a kite

Bailey has been waiting very patiently to fly her new Abby Cadabby kite, and between the wind and intense California sun, today was the perfect 68 degree day to do it. Bailey had a blast running back and forth with Abby flying high above her, it was just what she needed before taking a long Sunday afternoon nap.

So many carnivals...so little time

This past weekend must of been the undeclared weekend to have a carnival. There was plenty of them going on in the area, unfortunately the weekend is only so long. Friday we went to the one in San Clemente and Saturday there was a carnival on Camp Pendleton at Lake O'Neill. It was a fun weekend to be a kid!

It could've been worse....

Kids are so random you just never know what their going to do next. Today we had an interesting incident with Bailey I thought was too funny not to share, so here goes. Yesterday while Jeremy and Bailey were fishing she decided she needed to go poopy, and of course there was not a potty in sight. To avoid an accident I told Bailey we'll just go outside, but she can only do that when there is not another option available. And because she's not the best listener these days that must of went in one ear and out the other. Well today after church Bailey was playing in her pool, (we thought), while Jeremy and I was talking in the garage and Bailey comes streaking through the garage, will barely say a word or tell us what she had done with her swimsuit, all she will say is, "I have to go inside, I have to go inside." So were thinking WOW she must really have to go potty. I go outside to grab her swimsuit and much to my surprise I saw she didn't go inside to go potty at all, it already happened. Apparently she decided to skip the privacy of the potty and squat in our front yard and bare all for everyone to see. Luckily, I didn't see anyone outside at the time so I hope nobody witnessed the incident taking place. She definitely doesn't have a shy bone in her, and at least it happened at home and not in a more public place.

Jeremy finally got a "boat." It may not be the boat of his dreams but nonetheless he's pretty stoked about it. In fact he's so excited, he's waking up at 5am on a weekend to give it a test try! Let's just keep our fingers crossed it stays a float because Bailey can't wait for her turn in Daddy's new boat.

After a very busy last three weeks things have finally slowed down this past week. While Brittany was here visiting she managed to take some great pictures of Bailey at the San Onofre State beach. She always seems to get the best pictures of Bailey at just the right time, if only she lived closer to do it more often...

On a side note I think we have finally decided to name our new puppy Hurley or Hurly and his sister's name is going to be Roxy, very beach and SoCal appropriate we decided. So we will have Jeremy, Bailey, Brody, Hurley or Hurly, and then there's Amanda, I'm not really sure what happened there.

Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! We had a very busy Easter weekend. Bailey and Carson had tons of fun at the annual Easter carnival in San Clemente on Saturday then Sunday was spent at church and hanging out on the beach with a few friends.

Nameless puppy...

We've came up with a few name ideas for the new puppy, but have yet to come to an agreement on one. When we ask Bailey which name she likes she says she wants to name him puppy. Besides puppy here are the others we've came up with: Havoc, Kane, Boot, Scout, Tyke, Scooter, and Piston. I won't say whose favorite is which name, but were open to new suggestions or if you like these let us know so we can try to make a decision before he comes home.

Mommy & Me Easter party

For the last 2 months Bailey has been going to a Mommy & Me class every Tuesday and Thursday for an hour. It's basically a kindergarten readiness program to start introducing letters, numbers, socialization, name recognition, days of the week and so on...With Easter right around the corner one big Easter party was held for all the different Mommy & Me classes. Bailey got to play with all her friends, see the Easter bunny, hunt eggs, eat lots of snacks, and did I mention play?
