Bailey has finally upgraded her scooter and tricycle for her very first big girl bike. And for the very first time, she picked out something that wasn't Dora. She had the options of Dora, Princesses, or Tinkerbell and it shocked Jeremy and I both when she chose Tink. Since watching the Tinkerbell movie and going to Disneyland it's become her new thing along with the obsession of trying to "fly" like Tinkerbell. For being a first time rider she rides like a pro. She spent every last minute of daylight and a couple of hours into the night riding her bike today. To say the least she likes it a lot. Here's a few pics of Bailey with her new recreational activity.

A new do
Since Bailey first started showing signs of having hair, I've been waiting for it to get long enough to cut it into a cute bob. After waiting only 3 1/2 years Bailey finally got one all thanks to my friend Cassie. I must say it is super cute and we will probably keep it like this until she decides something different. Thanks Cassie!

Back to Work
After a busy fun-filled 3 weeks Jeremy has officially checked back into work. Bailey and I are trying to get back into our weekly routine and Jeremy is trying to get back into the swing of not only working again but learning his new job at SOI. Bailey and I loved having Jeremy around during the day and its been nice to finally enjoy a summer together as a family.
After going through all the pictures we've been taking these past weeks, I found a few randoms I thought I'd share.

4th of July
It was finally in the cards this 4th of July for our family to be together and not separated by sickness or deployment. The Hokes came down from Fort Irwin and we kept it pretty low key spending most of the afternoon at the beach with a few other good friends. After a day in the sun we headed back to our house then down the road a couple of blocks to watch San Clemente's firework display. In previous years, Bailey has always thoroughly enjoyed watching fireworks but this year she was so distracted with the thought of rolling down the hill near us she couldn't sit still long enough to see one color change to the next.

Slip-n-Slide Fun
Bailey had her first go on a slip-n-slide today. Although I stayed dry to take the pictures, Jeremy didn't hesitate to show Bailey how it was done.

Julian Camping Trip
Last weekend we packed up and headed out to Julian, CA, a historic gold rush mountain town in the Cuyamaca mountains, for our second camping adventure with our friends Nick, Erin, and their son Kye. When it was 90 degrees before 9a.m. and our tents were more like saunas by nap time, we knew we was camping in the mountains and nowhere near the coast.
